About 23 km north of Sorsele township, the fishing area is located. The area around the Lais River is very visible with large rapids and falls.
The area includes part of the Lais River, Lake Arresjaure and some smaller watercourses.
Motorway and marked trails are available to most lakes.
Nordanås-Fjällnäs SFF is best reached by taking the E45 from Sorsele towards Arvidsjaur. After about 13 km, at the village of Heden, turn left towards Arjeplog and after 10 km you reach Nordanås which is in the middle of the area.
